KTO continues to show its ethical and sustainable commitment to the Brazilian betting industry.
The Brazilian iGaming Summit (BIS 2021) took place on December 1st and 2nd, 2021. The event was held in São Paulo and brought together the biggest names in the Brazilian Igaming industry. KTO was represented by it’s Brazil country manager, Cássio Filter.
Filter was part of the “Differentials of successful operators in Brazil” panel. And he highlighted what he believes matters the most when it comes to the industry.
“What the customer is looking for in any product in any market is trust. Trust is the basis of our sector. And this is the point we have always worked on here in Brazil, we are awaiting regulation so that we can collaborate even more in improving the market and sector”, explained Filter.
He also mentioned for this trust to be developed, it is important that companies assume the role of explaining their products and services in a consistent and clear manner.
“Brazil is still a young market for this sector. So it also ends up being a natural function of operators to educate their customers so that they have a pleasant experience”, proposed the country manager.
The panel was mediated by Angelo Alberoni, Brazil country manager at Betcris, and also included Luiz Fiorense, CEO of TacTic Sports and Natalia Nogues from Control+F5. During the presentation, other valuable points were also highlighted during the event such as the importance of product regionalization, variety of verticals, and relationship with affiliates.
In addition to representatives from various operators and suppliers, Gustavo Guimarães, Secretary of Planning, Energy and Lottery Assessment (SECAP) of the Ministry of Economy and Waldir Eustáquio Marques Jr, undersecretary of the same ministry also attended the event. They were joined by deputies and lawyers aligned with demands related to online gambling and betting in Brazil.
