KTO Group CEO Andreas Bardun Meets Rio Grande do Sul State Governor Eduardo Leite to Discuss iGaming Regulations and Industry Potential

As Brazil prepares for the upcoming implementation of iGaming regulations, ongoing discussions and thorough analysis remain crucial to establish the most suitable practices for the country.

Another progressive step towards this implementation was made as KTO CEO Andreas Barudun attended a meeting with Eduardo Leite, Rio Grande do Sul’s State Governor. The primary objective of the meeting was to conduct an in-depth discussion on the forthcoming sports betting regulations and explore the vast potential of the iGaming industry within the region.

Accompanying them in the meeting was Andre Gelfi, the recently elected president of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR). The IBJR, an institute established by KTO Group and other prominent iGaming brands, aims to support the smooth implementation of iGaming regulations in Brazil.

Andreas expressed his gratitude for the opportunity commenting “It was an honour to meet the Governor of Rio Grande do Sul Eduardo Leite and his fantastic team to discuss the coming regulation of sports betting and also the potential of the iGaming industry”

Overall, as Brazil progresses with the implementation of iGaming regulation, the recent meeting represented a positive step in determining the most effective practices for its execution.

The collaboration of various industry stakeholders and government officials, such as in this meeting, highlights the collective efforts necessary to navigate the complexities of appropriately regulating iGaming in the country.
